Welcome All Runners!

This year is a continuation of the new and exciting course from last year; one that winds along trails with breathtaking views of the Columbia River and Wetlands area.

Runners will find the 11-kilometre course challenging, featuring varied terrain, ridge running, and single-track trails that cover everything from creekside running, short, steep hills, to cruising the bluffs overlooking the wetlands.

The family-friendly 3-kilometre run/walk will again continue this year through the beautiful Sinclair Creek Trails.  The Radium Events Committee is planning lots of extra family oriented and fun activities; stay tuned for more details.

Another exciting element to this year's event is the Headbanger's inclusion into the TREKS (Trail Races East Kootenay Series).  This is a series of five trail run events with the final race of the series and awards being held at the Headbanger.  For more information, please go to the following website: www.trekseries.com.

The weather has historically been great, so come and enjoy this challenging event (in support of the Radium Public Library) and the welcoming hospitality of the Village of Radium Hot Springs.

See you in September!
